TRANSFORMATIONAL SERVICE

To be in service to others is perhaps the greatest gift life has to offer. In order to be in authentic service to others, however, we have to take care of ourselves first. If we are not thriving it's difficult to support others in authentically doing so. La Paz International and HumanKind Foundations serve in relationships to and partnerships with others. To give for the purpose of ego gratification or to demonstrate to the world we are "good" is antithetical to our Foundations' missions. Please read more, we'd love your support! Come serve with us . . .

Mission & Vision

La Paz International and HumanKind Foundation share the same building blocks. Where La Paz is more focused on international work, HumanKind tends to focus more domestically.

Vision

A world where people live consciously, recognizing all people have the power to heal themselves and the planet through living a mindful and balanced lifestyle.

Mission

To increase personal power by cultivating our human capacity to decompress, connect, and ascend beyond our dreams.

Strategy

In an effort to support everyone’s natural ability to thrive through decompressing, connecting, and ascending, we work to inspire and empower people to live consciously, recognizing individuals have the power to heal themselves and the planet through critical and creative reflection, lifestyle education and medicine, travel, and compassionate coaching.

Pillars

Decompress - people have the right to take time for themselves, relax, enjoy life, and design the life of their dreams.

Connect - all human activity and growth is done though connection. Connection to self is primary as connections with others and the planet mirror the connection we have with ourselves.

Ascend - all humans have a right to expand themselves in pursuit of the life they dream to live. Ascension comes when we are free to be creative and to learn, grow, and fail.

Values

Our guiding values are embedded in honoring the dignity of all people, despite age, race, religion, and cultural background.  Through our work we advocate for a world where people:

Move from charity to justice . . .

From separation to connection . . .

From ignorance to awareness . . .

From hatred to understanding and peace . . .

From bigotry to diversity . . .

And from service to a

true reciprocal sharing of one’s life.

We believe that to achieve justice, connection, awareness, peace, diversity, and a reciprocal sharing of life, people must first be awakened to their current patterns of talking, thinking, emoting, and behaving. Once awakened, personal transformation is achieved through decompressing, connecting, and ascending. Our growth is a catalyst and inspiration for others to do the same.

EVOLUTION

In 2000 the La Paz International Foundation was founded under the name "Kids Without Borders." For two years the focus was on giving youth international opportunities or education to learn about other cultures to expand their awareness and grow their desire to be compassionate world citizens.

In 2002 Kid's Without Boarders rebranded to include people of all ages and was officially named La Paz International Foundation, the name it holds to this day. It wasn't for some years after that that the Foundation received the status of a 501 C3 organization

HumanKind Foundation was formed in 2019 as a domestic arm of La Paz International to do work that supported marginalized and disenfranchised people. Its focus is primarily on education.

We grew and changed in an effort to meet the growing demands of our community and the world's need to embrace a form of service that is relationally based. Proudly, our values and mission have not wavered over the last twenty years.  Come, be a part of our success . . . the world needs you now.

FUNDING OPPORTUNITY

Apprenticeship Program, Andes Mountains, Peru

Do you want to help change the future of work? Apprenticeships are a powerful tool to provide much-needed training and job skills; at La Paz International, our apprenticeship program goes even further than job training, it helps to keep indigenous Andean artisanal traditional crafts alive!  Generating trade skill opportunities and the preservation of cultural history are combined in this opportunity to build the slow fashion industry (non-large factory based production devoid of connection to the laborers, material, and process).

ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY TO SUPPORT THE
LA PAZ FOUNDATION MISSION AND PASSERI'S MISSION
TO MAKE HANDMADE WEARABLE ART ACCESSIBLE

Today is your opportunity to create a lasting legacy and make a real contribution to the future of luxurious, handmade fashion. By investing just $150,000 in the PASSERI opportunity in Cusco Peru, you will be immortalized as the factory's namesake--joining the best of elite companies whose brand stands for craftsmanship and timeless luxury. Your support of slow fashion not only backs indigenous artisans, but also ensures that their exquisite workmanship continues to create beautiful, wearable art pieces.  As if that weren't enough, the factory naming rights also gives you the opportunity to be part of the balance of modern society - creating wearable slow fashion art that's sustainable for generations to come.

In recent years, our success has exceeded all expectations, and now it's time to expand our capacity. We've had this naming opportunity in our back pocket until the timing was perfect and our capacity was near its limit, and where we have proof of concept - we are proud to announce that moment is now.

By taking this opportunity and making your commitment today, you can join us on this exciting journey and become an integral part of our success story. Don't hesitate! Seize this opportunity to step into your power and come walk with us.

Why are you seeing this opportunity on the Foundation page? Because fifteen-percent of the naming rights is tax deductible! The new factory design includes spaces for the indigenous artisans to gather to decompress, connect, and ascend. It also includes a small offsite location for weavers to gather and for tourists to gather to learn about the weaving process.
